Public forums gather comment for 2006 State
Health Report
The Board held three public forums to
gather general public input on health policy in Washington State and to
solicit comments on the
draft
2006 state health report released by the Board on April 3, 2006. This report
may be used to plan for the 2007-09 budget and the 2007 legislative
session. Area residents also had an opportunity to discuss
health care quality, rising medical costs, health disparities, children's
health insurance, and other health policy issues facing the state.
The forums were held April 11
in Spokane, May 9 in Kennewick, and June 13 in the SeaTac area.
