The Legislature asked the Board to convene a task force to explore the risks and benefits to public health and privacy posed by emerging genetic technologies. The result of the Genetics Task Force (GTF) efforts is captured in the final report which was accepted by the Washington State Board of Health at the October 9 Board meeting and was forwarded  to the Legislature.
