Washington State Health Report

Since 1990, the State Board of Health has been responsible for producing a biennial State Health Report that outlines the health priorities of the ensuing biennium. Section (1)(b) of RCW 43.20.50 stipulates that the report be produced in January of even numbered years and that the Governor must approve, modify, or disapprove the report.  In 2010, the Board included elements of the State Health Report in the 2010 Biennial Report to produce a single, combined document. State Health Reports for 2012, 2008, 2006, 2004, and 2002; are available in electronic format on our Web site. Printed copies of the reports for 1990 through 2006 are available by contacting the Board of Health at PO Box 47990, Olympia, Washington 98504-7990 or 360-236-4110 or wsboh@doh.wa.gov.
