Bob Lutz, MD, MPH
Dr. Bob Lutz graduated from Villanova University with a BS in Biology and Temple Medical School, where he received his medical degree in 1988. He spent 4 years in the US Navy before completing a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, where he also received his Master’s Degree in Public Health.
He moved to Spokane, WA in 2004 and worked as an urgent care physician through 2009. He stepped away from clinical practice while performing evaluation services for school districts in receipt of federal grants to improve their Physical Education programs. He returned to urgent care practice in 2015. He was appointed Health Officer for Spokane County in June 2017 and Asotin County in January 2018. He holds appointments as clinical and adjunct faculty in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane, Washington.
