The State Board of Health is seeking to hire a full time Policy Advisor position. The policy advisor will provide expertise and advice to the State Board of Health on complex, multifaceted, and sometimes controversial public health issues of statewide significance. This position coordinates rule writing, tracks health status, and analyzes laws, rules and other policies. You'll guide and support efforts to gather public input and engage diverse communities, organizations and outside agencies in policy development. You'll help forge and maintain system partnerships with local health jurisdictions, tribes and tribal organizations, professional associations, and engage with parties interested in Board activities and authorities.
