Board Members Select New Board Vice Chair

The Washington State Board of Health (Board) has selected Member Kelly Oshiro to serve as their newest vice chair. The Board voted unanimously during their June 8 virtual public meeting.

Serving in the role of vice chair, Member Oshiro will act in the capacity of the chair when the chair is unable to attend a meeting or is recused from a meeting because of a conflict of interest or is otherwise unable to serve in the chair role. Board members select the vice chair from the eligible appointed members. The nomination was introduced by Member Crawford. Vice Chair Oshiro begins her appointment immediately.
